Hopi Ear Candles

Hopi ear candling is an ancient practice of using hollow 'candles' that circulate warm air into the ear, this help increase blood flow in the ear thus helping to ease the pain or discomfort of ear wax, 'blocked' ears from frequent flying or diving and for the relief from sinus problems. 

Hopi ear candles can be helpful with excessive or compacted wax in the ears; discomfort in the ears and sinuses, hay fever; catarrh and asthma, vertigo, neuralgia, rhinitis, glue ear, headaches, migraine, ringing in the ears i.e. tinnitus. It is also of great benefit to frequent flyers or for SCUBA divers who may have a problem in equalizing their ear pressure. 

The candles work on a ‘chimney’ principle, drawing up impurities from within the ear. The rising air also has the effect of giving the eardrum a gentle massage, which, in turn, helps to regulate pressure. Locally applied heat also has the effect of stimulating blood circulation, which can strengthen the immune system and enhance lymph circulation.  The treatment is completed with a gentle facial massage, which helps to drain the sinuses.

• Use Sunscreen. Clients should never go out even on a cloudy day without sun protection if they do peels.

Laser Red Vein Treatment 

Thread veins are tiny dilated blood vessels near the skin surface. They look like fine red wiggly lines, or they can occasionally appear purple. The medical term for them is telangiectasia. Some people refer to them as ‘spider veins’.

⭐️Lasers produce light of a very specific wavelength. We match the wavelength to a target colour (such as the red of blood or the vessel wall).

The target absorbs the laser light but not the surrounding tissue. The heat energy from the laser pulses breaks down the thread veins into tiny particles.

These particles are then naturally dispersed in the body. The veins will then fade or disappear over several weeks.

⭐️Because the treated veins need to be eliminated by your bodies lymphatic system it can take several weeks for the veins to disappear. A good indicator for successful treatment is the pressure test. Korean lash lifts use a gentle product to relax the hairs, which is step one of the process. The solution is so gentle that the product can be placed all over the lashes, giving them a much better curve from root to tip. The gentle product is cysteamine-based only; it doesn’t contain the traditional thioglycolic acid (TGA) formulas, which are much harsher on the lashes.

As well as being gentle, the Korean lash lift is packed full of hydrating and conditioning ingredients for healthier lashes.

The Korean technique is glueless, which also helps the quality of the lashes during the process. Adhesive can really dry out the lashes, and this method avoids it completely.

PATCH TEST REQUIRED 48 HOURS BEFORE TREATMENT- please note we are closed Sunday and Monday and Pop during opening hours 

Avoid the following for 48 hrs.
– Getting them wet
– Mascara
– Rubbing
– Sleeping on your face

After the 48hrs you can get them wet and wear mascara as normal. A Korean lash lift is very gentle, but your lashes still need some love. Applying a serum daily will help nourish them, making them ready for your next lift.
